Great Orchard Cabin sits in a three acre meadow, with unbroken views of fields and woodland. You have a secluded spot, well away from any other accommodation on the farm. There is a large mown area around the cabin, with a fire pit, then the rest of the field is hay meadow, scrub and orchard.

 

Inside the Cabin is a main living room with wood burner and a separate bedroom. The bedroom is divided by a curtain, to create a double room and a room with two singles (one built-in bed and a truckle bed under). There is additional space for an extra guest on the camp bed in the main room. Please note that no bedding or linen is provided.

Your private fully-equipped kitchen has all the pots, pans, cutlery and crockery that you could need, with a gas hob and undercover seating for up to six people. Alongside is the drinking water tap. There is no hot water tap, just ice-cold drinking water, fresh from our bore-hole.

The private facilities are in two little huts near the cabin - a compost toilet, and a lovely, hot gas-powered shower.

Car parking is on a stone area about 40 metres from the Cabin. Wheelbarrows are provided for carting your stuff.

Recycling/rubbish is just beside your kitchen, so very easy to access. Please recycle all you can.

​

Fridge, freezer, and charging lockers are available in the farmyard. These are a free, shared resource for all the guests staying on the farm. You leave items to charge at your own risk.

 

Fire boxes, containing logs, kindling and natural firelighters, are for sale at £10 each.

Large charcoal bags, sustainably produced and locally sourced, are for sale at £10 each.

These can be added to your booking or purchased on site using the honesty box for cash payment.

Body boards, beach toys & barbeque grills are available to borrow.
